FBR restores performance allowance of Customs officials

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue FBR has restored the performance allowance of officials of the Customs Department which was discontinued vide FBR’s Notification No 2111-C-III/2015, dated 9.9.2015.

According to a notification issued by Waqas Alam, Secretary ERM-II, the officials whose performance allowance has been restored include Abdullah Domki (Principal Appraiser) Customs Collectorate Appraisement West Karachi, Abrar Hussain Shah (Examiner) Customs Collectorate Appraisement West Karachi, Mumtaz Ahmed (Examiner) Customs Collectorate Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Jamil Ahmad (Inspector) Customs Collectorate Gwadar, Sohail Iqbal (Inspector) Customs Collectorate Appraisement Lahore, Muhammad Moazzam Ali Khan (Inspector) Customs Collectorate Appraisement Lahore and Waheed Iqbal Bhatti (Inspector) Customs Collectorate Preventive Lahore.

The notification further says those officials whose performance allowance was discontinued on account of imposition of minor or major penalty, will however not be restored through the above notification until they have gone through fresh process of selection for grant of performance allowance.
