FBR rules out amnesty scheme for owners of offshore companies

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has ruled out to introduce amnesty scheme for the owners of offshore companies.

Refuting a news item published in an English daily, a senior FBR official, seeking anonymity, said that no law is being introduced to give amnesty to protect the offshore assets of the owners and a news in this regard published in an English newspaper is not correct.
