ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has said that the income tax return form for individual and association of persons (AOPs) has been notified through SRO 819(I)/2017 on August 17, 2017.
“The notified return format is meant for both the electronic as well as manual filing,” the FBR explained through Circular No. 05 of 2017.
The prescribed form in manual format is available on FBR’s official website and may be downloaded from the website for manual filing of returns, the FBR added.
A day earlier, Karachi Tax Bar Association (KTBA) had urged the FBR to notify the forms in order to provide legal cover.
