ISLAMABAD: Asad Abbas Maken, an Inland Revenue Service (IRS) officer of BS-18 and presently posted as Secretary, Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad , has resigned from job.
The Competent Authority has accepted the resignation of the officer from government services with effect from December 15, 2014.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Tahir Iqbal, Cost Accountant (BS-19) and presently posted at Directorate of Training & Research-IR, Lahore, has been allowed to proceed on retirement from the government service with effect from March 01, 2015. The officer took the decision of retirement after completion of 25 years qualifying service for pension and in exercise of his option to premature retirement.
