FBR asks all collectorates to provide details of audit paras for fiscal year 2013-14

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has instructed all the collectorates to provide updated working papers of the audit paras with documentary evidences for the fiscal year 2013-14, it is learnt.

In this regard, Chief PAC Customs Syed Hamid Ali has forwarded a letter to MCC Hyderabad, Quetta, Gwadar, MCC Export PMBQ/MCC Import PMBQ, MCC Export Customs House, MCC Appraisement East/DG Transit Trade Karachi, MCC Preventive Karachi, Director I&I Karachi, Sukkur, Quetta, DG Valuation Karachi, PCA Karachi, Internal Audit, Karachi, MCC Appraisement West, Karachi/, Collector Appeals, Adjudication I&II, Karachi/Chief Collector Appraisement/Enforcement Karachi.

“A copy of the updated working papers containing the latest updated position as a result of audit verification may be forwarded to the board and audit positively and email at [email protected] and at [email protected]”, the letter added.

According to sources, the meeting of DAC on Audit Report 2013-14 was held in the conference room of the Custom House and all the concerned authorities have been asked to prepare suitable/updated working paper on each and every pending issue/para with documentary evidence (if any) to regularize/settle the amount involved therein.
