FBR seeks details from 27,000 buyers of property, car in Gujranwala

SIALKOT: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has sought explanation from all buyers and owners of the news cars and commercial properties in Gujranwala Division, asking them to provide the complete details and particulars of all the new car and commercial properties including source of income and name of the seller.

According to the senior FBR officials , as many as 27,000 people had purchased new imported cars and commercial properties worth billions of rupees in Gujranwala Division’s all the six Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahaud Din, Hafizabad and Gujranwala districts , without giving their details to the FBR, in this regard.

FBR has issued the notices to all the above-mentioned 27,000 people seeking explanation, besidedes asking them to ensure the early provision of all the needed details to FBR.

FBR has given them a two-week long deadline for declaring their sources and complete particulars, in this regard.
