FBR seeks details of circuit, rest & guest houses from Customs collectorates

ISLAMABAD: After instructions from PM office, FBR has asked all the Customs Collectorates, LTUs and RTUs to submit details of circuit houses, rest houses, guest houses, dak bungalows, camp offices and any other such facilities on urgent basis.

According to details, Secretary (Admin & Coordination) Syed Roman Ali Shah forwarded a letter no: 6(3) Coord /2004-Misc to all chief collectors, collectors,  Customs Collectorates and RTOs/LTUs, which reads that ”I am directed to enclose herewith a self-explanatory copy of U.O Dy.No.09/DS (ASPM)2018 dated 24-08.2018 along with enclosures of Prime Minister’s office Islamabad”.

He added that it is requested that a report/information on the prescribe format on the subject may be furnished to the Board as soon as possible by return fax for onward transmission to Prime Minister’s office Islamabad.

Through a circular issued by Deputy Secretary  APSM Muhammad Yahya Akhunzada to all the ministries, divisions, attached departments, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies/organizations seeking information regarding details of circuit houses, rest houses, guest houses, dak bungalows, camp offices and working staff in said places.

The above said organizations and ministries have been asked to provide the above information in specific format which have been provided along with the circular. It added that the competent authority must submit the above required information before end of of August along with the duly signed by the concerned in-charge.

The PM office further directed through circular that a focal person may be nominated in each ministry/division for follow up or correspondence in the matter name and contact of the focal person may be sent to the undersigned. It is reiterated that the matter shall be considered on priority basis as most important and time bound activity.
