FBR seeks recommendations for promotion of 87 appraising officers as principal appraisers

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) sought recommendations from Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) for promotion of 87 appraising officers (BS-16)  as principal appraisers.

A notification issued in this regard read “a meeting of the DPC to consider the promotion cases of appraising officer (BS-16) against the vacant posts of principal appraiser is likely to be held in near future.

All the concerned field formations and the senior-most appraising officer whose names are mentioned in the list are therefore requested to complete the deficient ACR’s and forward to second secretary (ERM-I) FBR by 5.12.2019 positively.

The field formations are also requested to furnish certificate to the effect that no disciplinary or criminal proceedings (including criminal cases pending with customs department/FIA/NAB etc.) are pending in respect of each official.

In case, any case is underway or pending against any official, details of this same may be intimated to the FBR. It is also relevant to mention that some senior most appraising officers are intentionally not completing their ACRs to avoid promotion.

All such officials hereby advised to complete their ACRs without further delay, otherwise they will be placed off duty and their use ID will be blocked with approval of the Competent Authority”. Capture Capture1
