FBR seeks names of BS-20 Customs officers for 106th NMC

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has sought the names of BS-20 officers of Pakistan Customs Service for 106th National Management Course (NMC).

According to the circular, issued by Secretary (Mgt Customs-I) Wajid Zaman, the names of Customs officers of BS-20 (in order of seniority) have been required to be forwarded to the Establishment Division for nomination of suitable officers for 106th NMC, scheduled to commence from January 23, 2017 at National Management College, Lahore.

As per Establishment Division’s instructions, officers once selected for NMC, decline to attend the said course for two consecutive NMCs, will forfeit their right for promotion, it said.

The officers have been directed to send their written consent to the Board by December 5. In case no reply is received with the above cutoff date, it will be presumed that the one is willing to attend the NMC. The willing officers have also been directed to forward their latest annual medical examination report to the Board, it added.
