FBR seeks reports about PM’s directives on businessmen harassment issue

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Secretary (Revenue Budget) Sultan M. Nawaz Nasir issued letter to all chief commissioners of inland revenue department seeking progress on prime minister directives.

According to letter no: 4(4) Rev-Bud/2019 dated 23.1.2019 I am directed to refer to the prime minister’s office U.O. letter no: 6 (2) DS9EA-II)/2019-109 dated 22.1.2019 on the subject received from deputy secretary (EA-II), prime minister office Islamabad and say that directive contained in Sr. No. 2 of the above mentioned letter i.e. “Businessmen who availed Income Tax Amnesty Scheme and completed all formalities will not be harassed by FBR and FIA” may be implemented in letter and spirit.
