LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) regional office has recovered Rs 1,235,000 tax from bank accounts of Al-Makkah Press (Pvt) Ltd for the tax year 2011.
The Board recovered the amount of tax directly by seizing accounts of the company at Habib Bank Limited Metropolitan Model Town Branch.
Meanwhile, Customs anti-smuggling scout impounded one Toyota Corolla at the Liberty Market. Anti-smuggling inspector Khalid Butt impounded the car on a tip-off. The car was being used under fake plate number.
