ISLAMABAD: Federal Bureau of Revenue R has proposed to set its tax collection target at Rs 14,131 billion while non-tax revenue target has been fixed at Rs 5,147 billion.
According to Fiscal Year 2025-26 budget document received by 24NewsHDTV Channel, Gross Revenue Target proposed to be Rs 19,278 billion. Rs 8,206 billion will be transferred to provinces under NFC Award in the budget.
The federal government’s expenditure for the next fiscal year is estimated at Rs 17,573 billion while the federal government’s net income is estimated at Rs11,72 billion. The primary surplus for the next fiscal year is estimated at Rs3,170 billion.
The federal cabinet has approved proposals for the Federal Budget 2025-26, including 6 percent salary increase for government employees and a 7 percent hike in pensions.
