FBR should adopt comprehensive policy to expand tax net: Shazia Suleman

LAHORE: Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) senior leader and former president of Lahore division Shazia Suleman has said that Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) should adopt comprehensive policy to expand tax net.

Talking to media she said that FBR should take necessary measures to make tax filing system more simply and transparent for new tax payers. She also appealed to government to announce concessions for women entrepreneurs who want to set up their business outside their country. She said that this move will pave the way for strengthen national economy.

Shazia Sulman said that FBR should avoid to harass business community. She said that traders are being threaten that FBR will freeze their bank accounts and attach their immovable property, she said this practice must be stopped for the sake of national economy.
