FBR staffers approach Federal Service Tribunal for relief

ISLAMABAD: Federal Service Tribunal (FST) to hear three identical cases on Monday seeking the tribunal to ensure ‘implementation’ over its decisions.

FBR employees, Ayaz Hussain, Muhammad Younis and Syed Munawar had filed identical petitions before the tribunal through their counsel Muhammad Ramazan. They had submitted complains of non-implementation over FST decisions by FBR.

Petitioner, Ayaz Hussain submitted before the tribunal that FST decision directing FBR to upgrade him to BPS-16 and provide him all benefits, with effect from 1994, was time barred and was not supposed to be denied implementation by FBR.

Petitioner pleaded the tribunal to ensure implementation over its decision and direct the department to act upon FST judgment in letter and spirit.
