KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has started monitoring of 12 factories which are located in Hyderabad and Karachi.
Sources of Regional Tax Office-III told Customs Today these factories showed their less income as compared to previous year. Their sale was increasing but they are not depositing their tax returns according to their sales.
Sources said that in the first stage eight factories from Karachi and four from Hyderabad selected for sales audit. Those selected for audit includes Al Ghafoor Textile, Front Bed Sheets, Mirza Chemicals, Dawood Knitwear, Hamza Group of Dinning are located in Karachi. While Samra and Company, Muneer Textile, Warsaw Chemicals, and Qaisar Textile are located in Hyderabad.
