FBR starts registration cell in RTO-II to facilitate taxpayers

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has started a registration cell in Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) to facilitate taxpayers, where taxpayers can register and get their National Tax Number (NTN) free of cost.

The FBR has also launched IRIS module for faster registration process of taxpayers. Individual or partnership registration can be made from home but in case of companies registration the taxpayer should have to visit FBR office along with original CNIC and for thumb impression.
