ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has started SMS facility for the verification of active taxpayers.
According to details, the FBR has made this step to facilitate individuals and companies who are facing difficulties in inquiring their tax problems. Now they can verify their validity in Active Taxpayers List (ATL) by sending an SMS to 9966.
FBR has directed the citizens (individuals) to verify their names in the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) by sending their CNIC number on 9966 while the companies and firms can also send their NTN to the same number.
It is important to mention here that SMS service will function 24/7.
