FBR summons owner of Narson Paint Industry within 10 days

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue has served summons on the owner of a famous paint manufacturing company Narson Chemical Industry Private Limited which is a defaulter of Rs05million.

According to sources of Customs Today, the Federal Board of Revenue has summoned the owner of the company within 10 days. The FBR has directed him to appear before the investigation team otherwise the Federal Board of Revenue will declare Narson Chemical Industry as blacklisted company.

Earlier, the Federal Board of Revenue had raided the Narson Industry and frozen the bank account of the company. Sources said the Narson industry is a defaulter of Rs05million in the wake of income tax. Sources confirmed that Narson Industry failed to submit its income tax returns for the years 2011, 2012 and 2013. So the Federal Board of Revenue has frozen the bank account of the company and recovered Rs03million.

Meanwhile, the Federal Board of Revenue has recovered Rs266000 from the account of a rich citizen who has failed to file his tax returns since five years. Sources said the FBR had issued many notices to the said citizen named Javed, a resident of Bund Road Lahore. The Federal Board of Revenue has frozen the bank account of Javed at Jail Road Branch and recovered Rs265000 in the wake of Income Tax.

The action was taken by Inspectors Waqar Haider Shah and Muhammad Akram Haider.
