FBR suspends IRS officer of BS-19 Syed Zubair Shah for three months

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued notification to suspend Syed Zubair Shah for a period of three months with immediate effect.

A notification issued by FBR read “in exercise of powers conferred under section 5 (1)(i) of Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973, the Competent Authority is pleased to place Syed Zubair Shah, BS-19 officer of Inland Revenue Service presently posted as additional commissioner-Inland Revenue Large Taxpayers Unit, Islamabad under suspension for a period of three months with effect from 18.8.2020.
