KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to appoint professionally financial lawyers to pursue cases of the FBR in courts.
Sources of FBR told Customs Today that the final decision in this regard will be taken during a meeting which will take place in the FBR headquarters in Islamabad. Sources further disclosed that FBR is facing problems due to absence of professional expert financial lawyers. These sources said that once it was decided that law experts should be appointed but they did not find a suitable person for the above said post.
Now authorities concerned of FBR are again planning to get the service of professionally trained financial lawyer who will pursue FBR’s cases in Court.
