FBR to brief Senate body on tax collection of 1Q

ISLAMABAD, Nov 9 (APP): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) would brief the Senate Standing Committee on Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Statistics and Privatisation on the tax collection during the first quarter of the fiscal year 2016-17.

The committee meeting, scheduled to be chaired by Senator Saleem Mandviwala, would also be briefed on the budgetary allocations and its utilization in respect of Inland Revenue and Customs for the first quarter, as required under the rules.
