ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue has decided to provide one-window service to exporters for their export related business.
In the past, if a businessman wanted to export one’s goods, he faced a protracted procedure and had to go three different organisations. The exporter had to get approval from three organisations, namely Input/Output Co-efficient Organisation (IOCO); Engineering Development Board of Pakistan and the Regulatory Collector.
In order to eliminate the difficulties faced by exporters, FBR has decided to merge these three organisations into one Directorate General of ICOC. In this regard, FBR has adopted the Turkish model and amendments are being made in rules to implement the new decision.
