FBR to hold “Asset Declaration Scheme 2019” seminars

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Corporate Regional Tax Office (CRTO) has started awareness campaign on “Asset Declaration Scheme 2019”.

According to details, Regional Tax Office (CRTO) asset declaration team comprising Deputy Commissioner Umer Zeb Khan and others under the leadership of Commissioner Syeda Noreen Zahara has started sensitization on the Asset Declaration Scheme 2019.

In this regard the team has taken as many as 800 companies on board for distributing brochures and literature after appointing focal person for further information on the scheme.

In order to establish close coordination with the companies, four more sub teams have been established under Deputy Commissioners and the teams would be looked after by Additional CRTO Commissioners Ch Zafar Iqbal and Amira Sarwer.

The teams have held meetings with hundreds of company directors and explained them the benefits of the “Asset Declaration Scheme 2019” in the light of the Banami Act. M/s Master Group, M/s Ravi Autos Sundar and M/s Nice Chinese Company are on the top of list.

On the other hand, it is informed that two more seminars are being held in the upcoming week to interact with the Auto Manufacturing and Parts Association and other groups. The companies would be explained about the benefits of the asset declaration under the act.
