FBR to investigate bank accounts of Axact officials

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is considering scrutinising the bank accounts and other property related matters of the arrested officials of Bol channel. These officials include associate vice president, vice president, software engineer and associate president.

Sources in Regional Tax Office told Customs Today that names of these officials are Mohammad Rizwan, Imran Ahmed, Atif Hussain, and Adnan all of these officials are currently in the custody of the Federal Investigation Agency.

Sources said all authorities will conduct thorough investigation into the property related matters of above said officials. They will conclude that how much property tax they paid. Sources further revealed that Axact software engineer Atif Hussain giving valuable information about company’s software, through this investigation they will able to decide how much tax was deposit on sale of this particular software.

Some sources believe that Axact already sold the software in local market but the income they received from their clients is still hidden.
