The finance minister said that Pakistan was the fourth country in the world which was issuing tax directory of the parliamentarians and other taxpayers and was publishing for the last two years.

Meanwhile, the country’s top revenue authority has been mulling to publish the top-100 taxpayers’ list, the sources said, adding that the list was published first time in 2013.

Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had announced publishing the tax directory of parliamentarians and general taxpayers at the end of February every year. However, the government could not do so. The government had issued the tax directory for 2014 on April10, 2015.
