LAHORE: Tax refund activities are going smoothly in all Regional Tax Offices and Larger Tax Payer Unit in Lahore, sources told Customs Today.
Sources further revealed that during financial year 2014-15 which ended on 30 June, 2015, Federal Board of Revenue deducted extra taxes from some taxpayers and now the department is busy to refund the extra amount collected by these tax payers.
Sources said that it is a routine matter as this exercise has been repeated after expiry of every fiscal year.
