ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to scrutinise the assets of its officials, making it clear that stern action will be taken against those involved in corruption.
Administration Member Shahid Hussain Jatoi has reportedly received evidence-based information about corrupt officials.
The information revealed corruption in field formations. Therefore, the board has started collecting information of tax returns filed by the officials.
The board will compare the current and previous status of the officials and as a result corrupt officials will lose their job. Investigation in this regard will be started soon.
