FBR to take strict action against 15,000 defaulters

SIALKOT: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has finalized a list of traders who have failed to file returns and has decided to start a grand operation against them.

Sources informed Customs Today that the FBR has finalized a of list of 15,000 traders who failed to submit their tax returns. Sources said that all these traders are earning handsome amount, leading a luxurious life, have luxury vehicles and bungalows but are avoiding to pay taxes.

Sources said that the FBR has asked all these tax defaulters to clear their pending tax dues until March 25, 2016 otherwise a stern legal action will be taken against them which will include attachment of their bank accounts and properties.
