ISLAMABAD: Orders of transfer of two superintendents issued by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) have not yet been implemented even after a lapse of three months.
According to sources in the FBR, the board issued transfer orders of two superintendents, Javed Rao and Ishaq Kayani, of the Model of Customs Collectorate (MCC) Islamabad. The MCC Islamabad has not relieved them of their duties even after three months of their transfer orders. The board sent reminders for implementation on the transfer orders but it proved a futile effort.
The FBR has decided to gather information in this regard to verify if this is a departmental compulsion or there is any hidden interest behind the situation.
