ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has transferred and posted 17 senior customs group officials as part of a drive to improve tax collection for the current fiscal year.
According to a notification, Shaukat Ali has been transferred and posted as director, directorate of intelligence and investigation, Islamabad; Najeebur Rehman Abbassi, director, directorate of intelligence and investigation, Lahore; Mohammad Zahid, collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Faisalabad; Mohammad Javed Ghani, director, directorate of transit trade, Karachi.
Dr Naeem Ajaz Qureshi has been posted as collector, collectorate of customs (Adjudication), Islamabad; Syed Shahanshah Hassnain, collector, collectorate of customs (Adjudication-I), Karachi. Mr Hassnain will also look after the charge of the post of collector, collectorate of customs (Adjudication-II), Karachi.Ms Suraiya Ahmad Butt was posted director, directorate general of customs valuation, Karachi; Dr Naeem Khan, collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Peshawar; Dr Kamal Azhar Minhas, collector, collectorate of customs (Adjudication), Quetta; Dr Zulfiqar Ali Ch, additional collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (West), Karachi; and Ahmad Rauf, additional collector, collectorate of customs (Adjudication-II), Karachi.
Similarly, Aftab Ahmad Bhatti has been posed as additional collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Exports, Karachi; Irfan Javed, additional director, WeBOC Project, Karachi; Asif Abbas, additional collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Multan; Syed Naeem Akhtar, additional collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Exports Port Mohammad Bin Qasim, Karachi, Mohammad Tahir, additional collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (East), Karachi and Farrukh Sajjad, additional director WeBOC Project, Karachi.
