FBR undertake transffers, postings of IR officers of BS 21,20

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has undertaken large scale transfers and postings of various  officers of Inland Revenue Service (BS-20-21) with immediate effect and until further orders.

According to the details, Naushad Ali Khan (Inland Revenue Service/BS-21) has been transferred as Member, Federal Board of Revenue (Headquarters), Islamabad from Large Taxpayers Unit, Islamabad as Chief Commissioner while Habibullah Khan (Inland Revenue Service/BS-21) Chief Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Islamabad  has been transferred  as Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Large Taxpayers Unit, Islamabad.  Mustafa Sajjad Hassan (Inland Revenue Service/BS-21) Chief Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Sargodha has been transferred as Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Regional Tax Office, Islamabad while Zulqarnain Tirmizi (Inland Revenue Service/BS-21) Chief Commissioner, Large Taxpayers Unit, Lahore as Member, Federal Board of Revenue (Headquarters), (stationed at Lahore).

Similarly, Asim Ahmad (Inland Revenue Service/BS-20) Chief Commissioner, (OPS) Regional Tax Office, Multan as Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue (OPS) Large Taxpayers Unit, Lahore while Dr.  Bashirullah Khan (Inland Revenue Service/BS-20) Director General, (OPS) (Enforcement) Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad as Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue (OPS) Regional Tax Office, Sargodha.  Likewise, Mr. Zubair Bilal (Inland Revenue Service/BS-20) Commissioner, (Corporate Zone) Regional Tax Office, Multan has been assigned “Look After Charge” of the post of Chief Commissioner-IR (OPS), RTO, Multan till the posting of a regular incumbent.

Sources told Customs Today¸ that more transfers and postings are expected in near future to meet the revenue collection target of Fiscal Year 2017-17.
