FBR urged to upgrade post of Inland Revenue inspector

LAHORE: The All Pakistan Tax Employees Association (APTEA) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has demanded the government upgrade the post of Inland Revenue’s inspector as Inland Revenue Officer.

APTEA President Aslam Pervaiz told Customs Today that less utilization of workforce was affecting the tax collection target.

Regarding the promotion of auditors SRO dated 27-11-2010 clearly specifies a special promotion path of senior auditors.

Aslam Pervaiz said that FBR should also give benefits to the employees of lower than 16 scales those played a vital role in revenue collection.
