KARACHI: Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) Chairman Mohsin Sheikhani has urged the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to extend the last date for the filing of income tax returns up to January 31.

The ABAD chief, in a statement, asked the FBR to give time relaxation to taxpayers who could not file returns mainly due to “faulty online FBR system”. He appreciated the FBR for implementing online tax return filing system. But, he maintained that the system is not working properly, rendering taxpayers unable to file returns.
