Following orders, the RTOs officials are striving hard, besides guiding the traders about Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme in order to bring the non-filers in to tax net, officials said, adding that new taxpayers could play an important role in economic development of the country.

On the other hand, another strategy was being adopted to trap the non-taxpayers in the region in which a network of informers will be developed. If any person informed FBR about tax evaders, the department will not only keep his name confidential but also award him a cash prize.
