FBR warns officers to submit asset details by Feb9, failure to lead cancellation of performance allowance

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has asked its officers to declare all the assets. In case of failure, their performance allowance would be cancelled after February 9.

The FBR had already asked its officers twice to submit their all declaration of assets up to 30.06.2014.The FBR issued directions in Board’s letters of even No dated 05.08.2014 and 17.11.2014 on the above subject.
However, the FBR noted that a number of officers have still not submitted their declaration of assets despites the above reminders.
The Competent Authority has taken a serious view of the situation and has therefore directed to initiate process to discontinue performance allowance of officers who fail to file the declaration of assets by 31.07.2014.
The FBR directed that complete declaration of assets might be addressed to Second Secretary (ERM) FBR (Hq) Islamabad.

The FBR has issued two different notifications in this regard.
