ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Mohammad has presided over a meeting.
Sources told Customs Today that the meeting decided to start various projects for the welfare of the Customs staff.
Sources said that the meeting also decided to construct a new building for regional tax office Islamabad. Prior to this, the RTO was established in the office of Large Taxpayers Unit building.
Due to this staff and officials were facing problems due to shortage of space. After construction of new building of RTO, current office of Large Taxpayers Unit will start operations in same building. FBR authorities also decided to expand the infrastrucutre of those buildings whose staff is facing shortage of space problems.
