FBR withdraws applications seeking restoration of employees’ allowance

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has withdrawn the applications, which were sent to the Ministry of Finance, against freezing the performance allowance of the officers and officials.

FBR Chairman Nisar Muhammad Khan has forwarded the letter to take bake the application, written on December 17, 2015 and January 2016 seeking de-freezing the allowances.

In earlier applications, the FBR chairman had stated that the performance allowance should be given to the employees in order to improve the performance of the employees. The improved performance will ultimately posed positive impact on the revenue generation.

Now, the Finance Ministry has also discharged the applications for de-freezing the allowance following the letter of the FBR chairman.
