FBR’s RTO II Lahore receives 63,000 returns till Dec 5

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue Regional Tax II Lahore received almost 63,000 income tax returns for the tax year 2014 through manual and e-filling till December 4, the last date of filing of returns.

The FBR had extended the last date for filing of the returns upto December 5 on the request of different tax bar associations and business communities to give more time to taxpayers.

Sources informed that RTO II Lahore received almost 26,000 income tax returns manually, while almost 37,000 taxpayers were filed their returns through e-filing. They added that RTO II also collected same numbers of returns during the last year.
