FCCI appreciates administration’s speedy road repair efforts

FAISALABAD:Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) President Farooq Yousaf Sheikh lauded the efforts of Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar and Deputy Commissioner Nadeem Nasir for initiating citywide road repair and rehabilitation work.

In a statement here, he said that the ongoing repair work on Canal Road, which is one of the city’s most vital thoroughfares, is a challenging task particularly while maintaining smooth flow of traffic.

However, he expressed full confidence in the capabilities of both divisional and district administrations to complete the project rapidly and ensure its long-term durability.

Farooq Yousaf Sheikh said that alongside road repairs, new surveillance cameras should be installed on Canal Road under Safe City Project to strengthen monitoring and curb criminal activities through effective surveillance.

He urged Regional Police Officer (RPO) Zeeshan Asghar and City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar to integrate private CCTV networks into Safe City system.
