FCCI laud LEAs for smooth conducting of elections

FAISALABAD: Shabbir Hussain Chawla President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) has lauded the sincere efforts of the caretaker government and Pakistan Army for conducting fair, free, impartial and transparent elections in the country.

In a statement issue here, he said that elections are not only an integral part of continuity of the demarcating process but also provide an opportunity to the masses to elect their rulers in according to their own wishes. He said that all political parties should accept the election result with an open heart instead of making these a bone of contention among the political circles and general public. He said that we should respect the people’s mandate and give time and support to the new government to implement its manifesto and give much needed relief to the masses.

Continuing, he said that restoration of economy is one of the biggest challenge confronted by new government and nation should set aside their petty elections related rivalries in order to put Pakistan on road to progress and prosperity.

Meanwhile, he has also condemned the Quetta bomb blast on Election Day and said that some hidden hands are involved in this heinous crime which is tantamount to sabotage the smooth transition of power in Pakistan

Mr. Chawla has also condoled with the dependents of innocent martyred peoples and prayed early recovery of the injured.
