MULTAN: The Federal Revenue Alliance has staged a protest against the arrest of members in the Regional Tax Office.

The alliance observed a strike against the arrest of their members. Federal Revenue Alliance representative Muhammad Ashraf warned the government over the arrests and registration of cases.

“All employees should be released and cases should be withdrawn otherwise we will protest and tax collection will be affected,” said Ashraf.

The protesters demanded that Lahore RTO Waqar Ahmad should be transferred or suspended.

FRA members Munawar Khursheed, Naveed Awan and Arshad Khan Tareen also addressed the protesters.

The alliance demonstrated on the call of CBA union for the endorsement of their demands.

Moreover, the FRA has also assured union members about issuance of service structure from Grade-1 to -16.
