Federal Service Tribunal adjourns hearing of FBR staff ‘promotion’ cases

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Friday adjourned the hearing of Federal Service Tribunal’s (FBR’s) employees ‘promotion’ cases.

A division bench of the FST comprising of Muhammad Arshad Bahtti and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi heard the cases filed by Syed Rizwan Ahmad, Tanveer Bawar, Arban Mehmood, Syed Nazir Hussain, Arif Mehmood Bhatti, M Asif, M Azad Khan, M Wasim, Syed Sajid Hussain, Akbar Masood and Rana Abdul Jabbar.

The petitioners had submitted their pleas against FBR administration seeking their due promotion at FBR.

Another bench of the FST, comprising of Technical Members, Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Syed M Hamid also heard two cases of FBR employees who also had raised issue of their promotion at FBR. These cases were filed by Abdul Ghaffar and Muhammad Moin-ud-Din through Advocate Shabbir Ahmed Nasir. Both of the appellants had sought their promotion to the post of Assistant.

Both benches adjourn hearing of cases till the month of January, 2016.
