Federal Service Tribunal reserves verdict on case filed by FBR employees

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal on Wednesday reserved a judgment on a case filed by employees of the Federal Board of Revenue (FRB).

A division bench of the FST comprising Members, Arshad Bhatti and Javed Iqbal Kasi, heard the “review” petition regarding the case of up-gradation from BPS-13 to BPS-16 of superintendent.

Three identical petitions were clubbed in the case filed by FBR staffers, Ayaz Hussain, Muhammad Younas and Syed Munawar Ali.

The appellants had pleaded the tribunal to review the matter and issue afresh directions to the department for their up-gradation.

The bench on the day completed hearing of arguments and reserved the judgment likely to be announced in coming days.
