Fesco pays Rs 6.3b tax to FBR annually

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) regularly pays taxes of Rs 6.3 billion to the Federal Board of Revenue annually.

Contradicting a statement appeared in a press section, Fesco Spokesman Tahir Sheikh said that FBR had imposed tax on the subsidy provided to the general public and against this levy, the Fesco had got stay order from a court.
