FIA apprehends human smuggler from Toba Tek Singh

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Faisalabad has arrested a human trafficker named Muhammad Khalid son of Muhammad Shafi. The alleged accused belongs to Mohalah Arfat, Toba Tek Singh.

Sources told Customs Today that FIA Deputy Director Syed Imam Zaidi and Sub-Inspector Muzamil Ehsan conducted a raid on the den of the accused. He was found involved in running an illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after gulling amounts from them. The accused also gulled Rs400000 from complainant Muhammad Tahir Islam, a resident of TobaTek Singh, for an employment in Qatar.

The FIA sent the accused behind the bars after registering a case No: 540/2016 of Human Smuggling under Section (U/S), 17/22 Immigration Ordinance-1979.
