SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a suspect for running an illegal business of money exchange and also seized national and international currency notes worth millions of rupees.
As per details, the special team of FIA raided a currency exchange shop located in Sialkot city’s congested China Chowk and arrested its owner Saleem Sarwar.
Meanwhile, the FIA also arrested as many as two notorious human traffickers Nasir Hayyat and Shahid Ali from Kamonki, Gujranwala.
According to Gujranwala FIA Deputy Director Ch. Khalid Anees, the accused had been running business of sending the local innocent people abroad illegally, especially to European, African and Middle East countries and to the Gulf States after extorting big amounts from them by showing them the golden dreams.
He added that FIA has sent the accused behind the bars after registering separate cases against them. Further investigations were underway, he said.
