FIA arrested human trafficker from Sargodha

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a two human trafficker Shahid Iqbal son of Abdul Ghani a resident of Kot Momin, Sargodha.

According to details, FIA Deputy Director Syed Imam Zaidi and Sub Inspector Sohail Awan conducted a raid along with his team at Sargodha city and arrested the accused who was involved in illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after extorting big amounts from them.

The FIA team also recovered original Pakistani passports and copies of passport, stickers, visas, labor demand of different countries, electronic tickets and bank transaction receipts from the suspect’s possession.

The accused extorted an amount of Rs 2,50,000 from the complainant for sending him to Saudi Arabia.

The FIA team arrested the accused and sent him to jail after registering a case of human smuggling against the accused. Further investigations are in progress.
