FIA arrests 18 on different charges from Lahore, Faisalabad

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) has arrested 18 perpetrators during different actions at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Faisalabad and Lahore. The FIA immigration arrested three offenders at the Lahore Airport when they were coming back from Libya. Their names were included in black list of FIA. Immigration arrested Amjad Maseh, Anwar Maseh and Irfan Javed who were involved in illegal visas and passport scandal.

According to an official in another action at Allama Iqbal International Airport FIA Immigration unit arrested three criminals who were coming back from Turkey. Three persons arrested by FIA Immigration are sent behind the bars for further investigation. They were coming back to Pakistan on emergency passports.

The FIA raided in outskirt of Lahore and arrested six criminals who were involved in running of illegal mini telephone exchange. Dozens of SIMs of different Mobil companies, laptops, routers and telephone sets recovered from the culprits. Exchange offenders arrested by FIA are Qayum, Imran, Shahzad, Asim, Nazir and Nadeem.

FIA also raided in Faisalabad and Lalamusa and arrested 6 culprits invloved in running illegal mini exchanges, total exchanges seized are 20. FIA has recovered instruments used in exchange gateways.
