FIA arrests accused involved involved in hundy, hawala

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore has nabbed an accused who is involved in money laundering and hundy business.

According to deputy director administration FIA Lahore, a team of the department conducted a raid under the supervision of Deputy Director Jameel Khan, Inspector Nasir Awan, Inspector  Badar, ASI Ashfaq, Maroof and Shafqat at Jagirdar Hotel room no 128 l,where a person namely Muahammad Ullah was found involved in illegal business of hundi/hawala.

During search following FIA team recovered PKR, 25,40,000,  manual receipts regarding hundi hawala, ledgers, mobile phone having entries, sms, whatsapp messages of hawala, hundi etc.

Sources said that FIA team after registering a case against accused person shifted him to unknown place for further investigation and prosecution.
