LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing, acting on a rare carse, has arrested a man for hacking into Facebook accounts.
According to FIA Assistant Director Asif Iqbal, the accused, namely Muhammad Naeem, also reportedly blackmailed the victims with their photos and personal data after hacking into their Facebook accounts.
In November, the cyber crime circle of the FIA claimed to have arrested a young man for allegedly blackmailing a girl via the social networking website, Facebook. FIA officials said that accused, Naveed Ahmed, son of Raheem Dad, has been arrested and pictures and internet EVO devices have been seized from his possession. An FIR No 31/15 under sections 36/37 ETO 2002, read with section 419 of Pakistan Penal Code has been registered.
